Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners.

2. Cookies and technologies we use

• Essential / authentication. The Base44 authentication provider sets session cookies required to keep you logged in and to secure your account. These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled.
• Local storage. DENTINHO stores small preferences in your browser’s local storage, such as whether you have dismissed a tip or banner. This stays on your device.
• Usage analytics. Base44 analytics records limited, aggregated events about which features are used, to help us improve the Service.
• Google AdSense advertising (Free tier only). On the Free plan, Google AdSense loads its script and may set cookies (for example to measure ad impressions and prevent fraud). AdSense cookies are not placed on Standard or Family plans, and ads never appear in health records, your dental chart, treatment history, symptoms or emergency information.

3. Consent and Google AdSense

For users in the UK, EEA and Switzerland, advertising cookies are only set in line with the consent you give through Google’s Privacy & Messaging consent experience. Ad serving respects that consent signal: personalised advertising is used only where you have given the required consent, and non-personalised ads are served where you decline. You can change or withdraw your consent choices at any time using the consent controls provided. Signed-in Free users can reopen the consent dialog at any time from the Cookie settings link.

DENTINHO does not share your dental or health information with AdSense or advertisers, and your health data is not used for ad targeting.

4. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in. Removing or blocking advertising cookies will not affect your ability to use DENTINHO’s dental features.

5. Third-party cookies

Google AdSense and our analytics provider may set their own cookies. The use of information collected by these third parties is governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as our services or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision.
